Dried hibiscus is most commonly used as a tea and it is sometimes mixed with ginger or with a squeeze of fresh orange to obtain an uplifting drink. It can be served hot or iced. For a teacup, steep half a teaspoon (3-5g) of hibiscus flower in boiling water for 5 minutes and serve in a mug. You can use a teapot with infuser or a strainer to remove the flowers. Its flavour is naturally tangy, so a tiny bit of sugar or natural sweetener is often added.

Our story – Franck has worked in the finance sector for many years. Lucia is a former university lecturer.
We are both very much fascinated by the potential of Agriculture in Africa. We visit the Ivory Coast quite frequently and during our trips, we have had the privilege to meet incredible women who work hard to develop their businesses and support their families. Unfortunately, it is very difficult for them to sell to a broader market and, as a result, most of their highly nutritious produce goes to waste. We took it to heart to work with them .
